History
In the 60's, a local trumpet player and owner of Exclusive Music, a San Gabriel Valley
music store, founded The Exclusives. Since then the band has performed at special
events throughout Southern California steadily gaining a reputation of musical excellence, professionalism, and client satisfaction.
Having undergone many personnel changes over the years, The Exclusives' beat still goes on. And it's never sounded better. Some of its former band members of note have included guitarists/singers Bobby Carlisle ("Butterfly Kisses") Mike Pinera of Iron Butterfly & Blues Image fame ("In a Gadda Davida," "Ride Captain Ride"), Dennis Marcellino, Greg Eckler, and Jerry Martini (Sly & The Family Stone, Rubicon).
Currently, The Exclusives features two superb lead singers. With soaring harmonies fueled with passion, outstanding musicianship and energy, The Exclusives will ignite the stage and rock your party. We look forward to helping make your next special event a smashing success.

ALEX Atencio (lead vocals)

Alex has been singing and performing for more than 20 years on stage and in recording studios throughout Los Angeles. At age 19, he started fronting local bands doing rock cover tunes and top 40 hits to make ends meet and refine his vocal ability.
With over seven years of vocal training at LA's legendary vocal coaches, Seth Riggs and Brad Chapman, Alex has adapted to many musical styles and has shown great vocal strength, clarity, and range, while still maintaining constant performances night after night. As an accomplished arranger, songwriter, and producer,
Alex has placed songs with Warner Chapel Music Publishing and worked with some of rock's top recording artists such as Night Ranger, Don Dokken, Bon Jovi's David Bryan, and others. Evolving as an artist and keeping up with current music worldwide, he brings new and fresh ideas into play with enthusiasm and grace. |

DANIELLA (lead vocals)

Everyone who has seen Daniella perform would agree she is a diminutive girl with a huge soulful voice who makes an impact on audiences. Her charisma, versatility and charm help create the magic of The Exclusives' on-stage chemistry.
Born of Croatian descent in Canada into a musical family, Daniella started doing studio work at 16. Two years later, she recorded an album in Croatia and performed in several live televised concerts in Europe. Daniella earned a degree with honors in Business from McMaster University.
She has performed the national anthems at Toronto's Air Canada Centre for the NBA, the Rogers Centre, and for TSN; festivals at Toronto's Centre Island; and special events with her folklore group and cover band. Daniella studied with Don Lawrence in New York, and wrote and recorded with songwriter/producer Tobias Karlsson, and LA based producer Roy Hamilton.
Daniella is currently completing a program at the Berklee School of Music and writing material for her new album.

THERESA Ryan (lead vocals)

Theresa started out singing at various Casino and corporate events in Las Vegas when she was 14 years old.
She attended the Performing Arts Highs School in Las Vegas, then went on to receive a BFA in Acting from S.U.N.Y. Purchase in New York.
After graduating ,Theresa moved back to Las Vegas and worked in Tony and Tina's Wedding At The Rio as Donna Marsala, Tina's best friend who sings at the wedding. At the same time, she was hired to understudy at The Second City Las Vegas at The Flamingo Hotel.
All the while, she was occasionally stepping in to sing with a few cover bands around Las Vegas.
Theresa's love of music and knowledge of lyrics won her $200,000 on Fox's "Don't Forget the Lyrics" hosted by Wayne Brady.
When Theresa isn't singing with the Exclusives, you can catch her most every other night hosting karaoke at The Gaslite in Santa Monica.
Theresa brings passion, humor, and lots of energy to her performance. |

LOUIE Nicolaides
(keyboards, vocals)

Met his wife at a company Christmas Party of which The Exclusives performed in 1986. Originally joined the band in 1979 and performed with them during his college years at USC.
He's played for former Governor George Deukmejian, Senator Pete Wilson, Mayor Tom Bradley, Muhammad Ali, Jane Fonda, Dustin Hoffman, Gregory Hines, former USC Football coach John Robinson, and many others.
Louie studied classical piano with Gustav Riherd, and in High School won a Southern California Women's Club Scholarship, and gold medal from the International Artists Guild. Louie has appeared with Bonnie Raitt, Spencer Davis, Chuck Negron (Three Dog Night), Rare Earth, and Maurice White (Earth, Wind & Fire). |

SCOTT Felton
(guitar)

Originally from New Hampshire, Scott Felton received his BA in Music from Beloit College and also received diplomas from McNally Smith College of Music where he received Outstanding Advanced Musician Award.
After 11 years as a freelance musician in Minneapolis, Scott moved to Los Angeles where he has performed with such local bands as Yikes!, The Touch, I Want My 80's! and Good Cop Bad Cop as well as touring with The Joseph John Band and world-renowned U2 tribute band Hollywood U2.
He has also performed with original artists Nicky Holender and Erin O'Bryan and done studio work for nu-jazz artist Mizter Koffy. Scott's diverse musical knowledge has made him a sought after guitar and bass instructor for over 13 years as well as head teacher for the Los Angeles DayJams Music Camp. |

MARTIN McSweeney (bass)

Born in Southern California to the parents of New Orleans Natives, Martin has been influenced by all types of music including the rich, varied sounds of New Orleans jazz, funk, and zydeco.
At a young age he began playing the piano, drums, saxophone, guitar, and singing. In high school and college he participated in countless musical groups, rock bands, and choirs. Martin studied bass performance, writing and arranging at the Berklee College of Music. After graduating Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Professional Music in 2004, he moved back to Los Angeles.
He is currently a freelance bass player and backing vocalist for original artists and cover bands. He teaches instrument classes as well as private lessons for guitar and bass. Martin's enthusiasm for teaching and learning is obvious, as he says, "it's a wonderful blessing to have the opportunity to share my passion for studying and performing music with my students!" |

STEVE DeLollis
(drums, percussion)

Steve DeLollis began playing drums at the age of six. Growing up in Cincinnati, Ohio he played in concert, jazz, marching and rock bands in high school before moving to the Chicago area to earn a degree from Northwestern University and gig around town.
He now resides in Los Angeles, and divides his time between live performances, studio recordings and teaching. Steve's stylistic diversity is exemplified by his work with both the Pretty Babies Torch Singers' repertoire of ‘20s-‘40s era standards (featuring actress/singer Zooey Deschanel) as well as his current recording work with Greg Ginn, the guitarist and founder of the seminal punk band, Black Flag.
He can also be found laying down tribal funk grooves for Nike Fitness Academy dance classes. |
